Zachary Morphew is a cartoonist living in West Virginia. He received his BFA through West Virginia University, where he studied oil painting. His work is often in conversation with the established aesthetics of American folk art, children's books, indie comics, and the landscapes of Appalachia. He is best known for his comic series Salvester the Cat and by his social media handle @surrealstation.
